Three exciting training dates coming up next month! These are perfectly timed for our upcoming POR competition on 21st September and our three-phase competition which is taking place on the 12th October. The training events cover PTV, CoP and POR - all three phases of TREC. This gives beginners and newcomers the perfect opportunity to sample TREC in a controlled and supervised environment and gives those more experienced a chance to brush up on skills with two incredibly talented coaches, Gwen Bastian and Adrian Flynn. Gwen and Adrian are both international TREC judges and we are very lucky to be able to book their time.

• September 7th: obstacles and control of paces training with Gwen Bastian @ Little Oaks Equestrian Centre, Prosperous, Co. Kildare - €25
• September 11th: unmounted maproom theory training with Gwen Bastian @ Little Oaks Equestrian Centre, Prosperous, Co. Kildare - €20
• September 27th: PTV training with Adrian Flynn @ Lullymore Equestrian Centre, Rathangan, Co. Kildare - €25

Six brave teams entered the competition for the Kaspyr Cup, which was decided at the recent TREC Ireland Nationals Championships. A huge congratulations to the Donegal Team who won fair and square. And a big well done to the TWELVE Leinster TREC members who also entered, spread across three teams. Ailbhe Gavin, Karen Reilly, Lorna O'Neill and Diana O'Huid came in second place while Sheila Fuller, Catherine Bartley, Louise Parkes and Margaret Lynch came in fourth.

Presentation of the cup will be made at the AGM.
